About The Real Reset
The Real Reset wasn't built in a boardroom.
It was built from a breaking point.
For years I worked as a chef , long hours, convenience food, alcohol most nights, smoking.
Seasons in Ibiza, winters in the French Alps. I told myself I was managing.
My body knew different.
After repeated hospital visits and a serious diagnosis,
I was warned that if I didn't change, surgery was a real possibility.
I felt better and did what most people do I went straight back to the habits that put me there.
The second time, I couldn't ignore it.
I was housebound, seriously unwell, with no access to medical support.
Facing that kind of rock bottom strips away every excuse.
I had nothing but time, and slowly — painfully — I started to recover.
I had one advantage.
Years as a professional chef meant I understood food at a deep level ,
how to structure it, how to use it as fuel rather than reward or punishment,
how to make it repeatable without making it complicated
Through fasting, bone broth, movement, structure,
and a completely different relationship with food, sleep, and recovery,
something shifted.
What I found in that process wasn't a hack or a protocol.
It was something simpler not harder:
when you strip everything back and rebuild deliberately, the body and mind respond.
Structure matters.
Recovery matters.
Rhythm matters.
That experience became the foundation of The Real Reset.
Not theory.
Not optimisation culture.
Not pretending life is easy.
Just practical systems for real people, built by someone who needed them to survive.
